Methods you can understand and check¶
A methodology helps people make decisions with a purpose, rules and evidence. You can learn these methods without knowing an organisation or installing its tools.
MILPA organises knowledge and responsibility. ASILO sets boundaries for systems built with artificial intelligence (AI) assistance. SCAFFOLD manages software projects with people and assistants, from framing to delivery. ASILO includes architecture and security guides.

| Choose a method for your problem | Choose a method. |
| Understand it through an everyday situation | ASILO: shelter and keys or MILPA: a shared library. |
| Apply it in parts | A first task. |
| Plan, build and deliver software with people and assistants | SCAFFOLD methodology. |
| Understand a term | Spanish and English glossary. |
| Check an obligation | Requirements and their scope. |
ASILO 0.1 and MILPA 0.1 have been accepted since 28 September 2026. The explanations in this revision retain their editorial status. SCAFFOLD 0.2 has been accepted since 16 Oct 2026 with 36 requirements: 31 from 0.1 and five new. Declaring a method does not demonstrate that an implementation meets its requirements.

accTitle: Choosing and applying a methodology
accDescr: A question or problem leads to choosing a relevant method: MILPA for knowledge, sources and responsibilities, ASILO for boundaries of systems with AI, or SCAFFOLD for software projects. The three branches converge on preparing a small example, checking and recording results, and reviewing and correcting.

Choose by the problem, try a small case, check the result and correct it. The routes can be combined, but retain their own scopes and statuses.
Documentation follows the voice and independence axioms. See versions and changes to distinguish rules from explanations.
ASILO addresses systems built with AI and relevant model use. SCAFFOLD organises their construction with one assistant or several. See AI and application conditions and ASILO architecture and security.
